COVID-19 Updates:   133 Confirmed, 16 Deaths; Justice Minister, Musa Dean Tests Positive

The Ministry of Health (MOH) and the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) has released the latest updates as of the 26th, of April, 2020 on the  deadly Coronavirus, with 133 confirmed cases, 16 deaths been released.

While at the same time, the Minister of Justice Cllr. Frank Musa Dean has been tested positive, while the Deputy Inspector General, Sadutu Reeves has been quarantined along with several other officials of the Liberian government who were in the company of the late Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency, Marcus Soko prior to his dead as a result of been positive of the virus.

Total active cases have climbed to 92, with total recovered cases being still remain at 25, 16 deaths and 676 contacts are said to be under follow up. According to the report, 7 cases from Montserrado County, 2 from Margibi County; including 4 new deaths (3 – Montserrado County, 1 – Margibi County) .
