Attacker of Ukrainian ambassador in London arrested

Currently, the man is in custody at a central London police station

(ABC News) – A man, who attacked the official car of the ambassador of Ukraine in Great Britain Natalia Halibarenko, was taken into custody in London. The press service of the Scotland Yard reports this.

“A man, aged in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of police officers and criminal damage,” the report said.

According to the report, the man has been taken to a central London hospital as a precaution measure, but he was not injured. Thus, now he is in custody at a central London police station.

Earlier, the police of London do not treat the incident as the terrorist-related one.

The shooting began near the Embassy of Ukraine in London.

According to the report, at about 10 am, the car intentionally rammed the official vehicle of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, which was parked near the diplomatic department.

The police immediately arrived at the scene and blocked the intruder. However, despite this, the driver hit the ambassador’s car again.
