Nine young beautiful Liberian ladies today, February 21, 2019 gathered at the Ministry of Information to officially announce their intent to the Liberian people for the upcoming Miss Earth Liberia 2019 pageant scheduled to be held in Manila, the Philippines.
Addressing journalists at the Ministry of information regular press briefing, the chief organizer and sponsor of the Liberian participation to this global event, Miss Liberia Wokie Dolo expressed thanks and appreciation to partners including the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) youth affairs unit, the Ministry of Youth & Sport, the Ministry of Gender, the Environmental Protection Agency and La Queen Entertainment for their support to the success of Liberia’s participation..
Some young Liberian ladies who are expected to be a part of this event and showed up at the Ministry included: Miss Dearest Dolo; Miss RAINBOW, Miss Georgia L. Bemah;- Miss STAR, Miss Tribeau D. Brown; Miss TEARS, Miss Antoinette N. Benson; Miss PLANT, Miss Farsina P. Farmah; Miss MOON, others are Miss Jacklyn Seibeh; – Miss SNOW, Miss Folecia H. Daghe; Miss FIRE, Miss Pricilla W. Godwin; Miss WATER and MissCleopatra S. Speare; Miss FLOWER.
Speaking at the Ministry of Information, the National Director of Miss Earth Liberia, Miss Liberia Wokie Dolo, used the occasion to inform the Liberian people of this great opportunity for Liberia to be once again spotted on the international scene to showcase its cultural heritage and to open more doors for young girls in Liberia to realize their talents.
Miss. Dolo further disclosed that the pageant will be officially launched on March 1, 2019, while the main event will take place on March 30th 2019 at the Monrovia City Hall at 7:30 pm.
The Miss Earth Pageant is a program that brings together more than 120 beauty Queens from all over the world every year to discuss about safe environment and healthy living through land management, water, soil or land cleaning, pollution, etc.
This program will enable our queens to serve as Climate change ambassadors in their various communities, and also enable them to get involved in making our environment healthy and clean. Which makes Liberia’s representation very important.
According to the organizer, participants are expected to join five other international Queens, including Miss Tanzania, Miss Cameroon, Miss Botswana, Miss Cote d’Ivore and Miss Nigeria including Mr. Desmond Elliot who will serve as the official host for the night.
