Orange Liberia to invest nearly USD 15 mln in 2018

Orange Liberia plans to make close to USD 15 million worth of investments in the country in 2018 in strategic ways, The Observer reported. This will help improve digital inclusion by constructing new telecom sites in the most remote areas. Orange CEO Mamadou Coulibaly said the investment aims at pushing the nation among the countries with the most flourishing telecom industries in West Africa.

Coulibaly told the opening of the 2017 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) conference that Orange Liberia recognises the important roles that these businesses play. He used the occasion to encourage other large businesses not to focus on the growth and development of their own businesses alone, but also to invest strategically in ways that will ensure the growth of all sectors of the Liberian economy.
