UBA Liberia Team Engages New Nigerian Ambassador

United Bank for Africa Liberia Limited, have paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Nigerian Ambassador, James G. Dimka. The meeting was held at the premises of the Embassy of Nigeria in Liberia.

Leading the team of Bankers, at the Ambassador’s residence, MD/CEO Lekan Balogun thanked Ambassador Dimke for accepting to meet with him and his team to further strengthen relations between the Bank and the Embassy.

Speaking on the Bank’s activities in Liberia, Balogun stated that UBALL  is currently in two of Liberia’s thirteen counties with a strategic focus on merchant banking within the remaining 13 counties.

He pointed out that UBALL is exceptionally performing with its digital products, as the world moves toward a cashless society.

He mentioned that various E- banking services   (Visa & Master Card, POS, prepaid visa Card, have captured the Liberian banking sector, with UBA Liberia being the only Bank with a local currency Visa/ATM.

Commenting on institutions that have banking relationship with UBALL, the M.D. named the Government of Liberia, the United Nations, UNMIL, UNICEF, and the Liberia Revenue Authority among others, as its latest Customers.

Ambassador Dimka, who was impressed with the services and products mentioned by the MD welcomed the team and requested to immediately open an account.

He clearly pointed out that moving forward; there is no need to request an appointment to meet him, as the Embassy is home to every well meaning individual.
