United Airlines, which uses Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport as one of its main hubs, will likely see flights decline by 1.5 percent in this quarter due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey, an analyst quoted by Bloomberg reported Tuesday.
The loss will amount to about $265 million, according to Helane Becker of Cowen & Company. George Bush Intercontinental accounts for about 17 percent of United’s capacity.
