Mr. Kekura Kamara Of The ANC Delivers The Rice To The Lakpazee Central Mosque

Several mosques across Montserrado County and other parts of the country have received food ration and some physical cash from one of the country’s opposition political parties, the Alternative National Congress (ANC).

Speaking Wednesday, June 21, 2017 during one of the donations at the Lakpazee Central Mosque in the Airfield Community, an official of ANC on entertainment and social services, Mr. Kekura Kamara, alias ‘Malawala Balawala’, said the donation is a clear indication of the party’s belief of religious tolerance.

“Giving is the way of life of our political leader, Mr. Alexander B. Cummings. It is important to give because he, himself, has been blessed in so many ways through giving. And this is also to prove that he believes in religious tolerance,” said Mr. Kamara.

According to him, Liberians will continue to live in peace and harmony through religious tolerance, which is enshrined in the Liberian Constitution.

“As it is enshrined in our constitution, the ANC believes in religious tolerance. We believe in coexistence as one people of one country called Liberia,” Mr. Kamara continued.

“The donation you see taking place here is simultaneously being done at other mosques across the 15 political subdivision of our country,” he added.

Receiving the items, the Secretary General of the Lakpazee Central Mosque, Mr. Eddie Luseni, thanked the ANC through Mr. Kamara for the donation, which according to him, will forever be remembered.

“We want to thank you ever so much for this donation you have brought to us. We will keep you in our prayer as we move closely to ending our fast month. Allah will continue to bless you and have mercy upon you. May everything that you wish come to fruition,” he stated.
