A man is facing charges for shooting a 10-year-old during a family gathering Saturday on Staten Island, according to police.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday at a house on Deisius St. near Prall Ave. in Prince’s Bay.

Police said Mosheshvili Semion, 42, of Long Island was on the second floor of the house, looking at his friend’s gun when he accidentally pulled the trigger.
