The Day of the African Child (DAC) 2017 is themed “Accelerating protection, empowerment and equal opportunities for children in Africa by 2030″. On this day, we celebrate African children breaking boundaries internationally whilst advocating for equal opportunity for all African children. It is important that we encourage children to rise above the norm and follow their dreams.  We advocate for access to education for both boys and girls as it is their human right.

The dreams of children are valid and hence we must nurture them. In celebrating International Day of the African Child, here are African children breaking international boundaries
