PAL Adopts Draft Constitution, Appoints Election Committee

Mr. Stanley Seakor, Managing Editor of the Analyst Newspaper, and current Chairman of PAL

The Publishers Association of Liberia (PAL) has convened and adopted the draft constitution submitted by the present Administration of the Association, headed by Mr. Stanley Seakor, Managing Editor of The Analyst Newspaper.

During the draft Constitution revision process, the membership made some addendum such as:

  • Criteria for the election of Leadership of PAL
  • PAL membership agreed that general election be held every three (3) years, not later than third Saturday in July of the third year and Induction be held on the first Friday of August of the same year.

At the same time, the membership of Publisher Association of Liberia (PAL), has appointed an adhoc-election Committee to conduct election on July 15, 2017.

Those appointed by the Membership of PAL on the election Committee are Moses T. Togba, National Watch Dog Newspaper; Chairman, Chester A. Smith, Sr., The Independent Probe Newspaper; Member and Charles B. Yates, Integrity Watch Newspaper Member

Meanwhile, the Publisher Association of Liberia (PAL), has extended sympathy to the President, Mr. Stanley Seakor, for the death of his Sister.
