ELIZABETH — Two men have pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges in the fatal shooting of a Linden resident nearly two years ago in what authorities now say was a robbery gone bad.

Aziz Howard, 37, of Carteret, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of aggravated manslaughter in the death of James Garner, 37, who was shot and killed in a home on East Price Street on June 25, 2015, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park said in a statement.
