President Adama Barrow of the Gambia who is on his three nations tour is expected to arrive in Liberia today to meet with his Liberian counterpart, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. His three nations include Liberia, Ghana and Sierra Leone
During the visit, which will be his fourth overseas travel since he assumed office in January, Mr. Barrow will hold discussions with his fellow head of states aimed at strengthening trade, bilateral relations and other issues.
The Gambia has cordial relations with Sierra Leone, Liberia and Ghana and their leaders have played a significant role in finding a peaceful solution to the political standoff in the Gambia following last December’s disputed election results.
