Attacks against Syria Favor Terrorism, Russian Senator Denounces

Russian Senate President Valentina Matvienko

Moscow, Apr 11 (Prensa Latina) The attack by the United States against Syria is a sign in favor of terrorists, said today the Russian Senate President Valentina Matvienko, in a meeting in this capital with the top leader of the Syrian Parliament, Jadia al-Abbas. Washington lacked justification to launch a missile attack against the syrian Al-Shayrat, said Matvienko, who described that action as a blow to the relations between Russia and the United States.

There is no doubt that the launch of the Tomahawk missiles was a blatant violation of the International Law and a act of aggression against a sovereign State, the legislator stated.

Damascus announced that it had destroyed a factory that had chemical substances used by the terrorist group Al-Nusra Front in Syrian and Iraq.
