Liberia Diabetes Center Gets Relief Coordinator In U.S.

The Liberia Diabetes Center located on Front Street in Monrovia now has a relief coordinator in the United States. She is Ms. Jennie B. Morris, a residence Massachusetts.

According to a dispatch from the United States, Ms. Morris will be working with several organizations in the United States, to solicit assistance for the people of Liberia in partnership with the Liberia Diabetes Center.

Ms. Morris who holds a master degree from the University of Massachusetts, has served in several capacities, providing professional services to organizations that are engaged in humanitarian work in the city of Massachusetts. Speaking on her preferment, she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve as relief coordinator in partnership with the Liberia Diabetes Center.

She said as relief coordinator she will be holding consultations with humanitarian organizations and institutions in the United States in collaboration with the Liberia Diabetes Center identify the urgent health needs of the people of Liberia. ‘

Our people needs the engagement of every Liberian and for those of us that are privileged to make a difference in their lives, must be willing to do so” She called on Liberians and friends of Liberia in the United to join her in identifying potential resources that could be valuable to functions as relief coordinator.
