Presidential Aspirant Carlton Boah Opts For Transformed National Army

One of the 2017 presidential aspirants, Carlton Boah has stressed the need to transform the Liberian army if elected as President of Liberia, noting that the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) which is the nation’s nation protector must be transformed as compare to other armies around the world.

Speaking to journalists this week, the former newspaper publisher now politician said one of his priorities when elected to rule the country after October 10, 2017 his focus will be to address numerous challenges Liberia currently faced with, adding, “My leadership will do all in its powers to bring total relief to the people of Liberia,” Mr. Boah told journalists.

However, speaking further to journalists, Mr. Boah lauded the UP led government of infusing new dynamism in the national army, noting, “This Government has done extremely well in bringing on board sound minded individuals to lead the AFL,” Mr. Boah noted.

Mr. Boah who expressed optimism for capturing the nation’s highest seat (The Presidency) of the land boasted of his chances of winning the presidency during his interaction with some Liberian journalists yesterday.

Mr. Boah, an independent presidential candidate is among dozens of other contestants crawling for the nation’s highest seat, the presidency.
