HALEDON — The state revoked the substitute teaching credential of a woman who was sentenced to three years in prison for engaging in sex acts with students.

Linda Hardan of Prospect Park was 22 when she was sentenced in January after pleading guilty to aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The students were reportedly between the ages of 14 and 16 years old.

In court, the prosecutor reportedly claimed that Hardan sent 40 sexually explicit photos to a 14-year-old boy and performed a sex act on him at Paterson Great Falls.

Another 16-year-old reportedly dropped out of high school and didn’t return after Hardan’s actions, the prosecutor also claimed.

In the fall of 2014, Hardan worked as a substitute teacher at Manchester Regional High School and in Haledon Public Schools.
