Liberia Mourns, Lost Famous Woman, ‘Ma Mary Brownell’ Dies At 88

Liberia is once again bereaved, the death of one of the Country’s   famous women, Mother Mary Brownell has grieved the nation and its people following the news of her demise; she will forever be missed by all, especially the youthful population of the Country who she provided mentorship to prior to her death.

According to sources, mother Brownell prior to her death served as President of the University of Liberia Alumni Association, mother of Dr. H. Boimah Fahnbulleh and singing great Miatta Fahnbulleh, also Liberia’s Goodwill Ambassador for Maternal and Child Health died this week at a local hospital following a protracted illness, she was 88 years old.
