Customers of the Liberian Bank for Development & Investment (LBDI) were today, March 7, 2017 the happiest when the bank through the support of NOBEL Liberia launched the E-Banking services aimed at easing the difficulties being faced by the bank’s numerous customers in withdrawing their monies from the bank.
Today’s occasion was witnessed by executives of the bank including its President and Chief Executive Officer,, John B.S. Davies, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Minister of Finance, Development and Planning, Boima Kamara, executives of NOBEL Liberia; Mr. Jallah Kesselly, President and Chief Executive Officer and the Financial Comptroller of NOBEL Liberia, Mr. Nimne Elliott Mombo, Jr..
Making separate remarks, the President of the LBDI, Mr. Davies earlier expressed thanks and appreciation to the management of NOBEL Liberia for making available four E-Banking services in Monrovia and its environs, stressed that this ‘teller less’ system being put in place at his bank will drastically help to reduce some of the hardship being encountered by many customers.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the LBDI, Finance, Development and Planning Minister also poured praises on the management of NOBEL Liberia for being thoughtful to start with the LBDI realizing the uniqueness of the E-Banking services, and further noted how proud he is to see such a wonderful development taking place at the LBDI.
Speaking on behalf of his Company, the President and Chief Executive Officer of NOBEL Liberia said this idea being employed to help LBDI have these facilities was his institution’s way of contributing to the growth and development of the Liberian economy, and further promised his institution’s willingness at all times in supporting the works of the bank.
