PUL To Hold Debate In Lofa By-Election Saturday

The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) is set to hold the first of its 2017 candidates’ debate on Saturday, February 25, in Foya, Lofa County.

The debate will provide a platform for all nine candidates in the Lofa District One (1) By-election to present their programs, plans and policy ideas to the people, according to a PUL release issued Friday.

Candidates certified by the National Elections Commission to contest the Lofa District One By-election are Elizabeth Tamba; Peter T.O James; Tamba William Saa; Joseph Tamba Machulay, Sr.; William Saah Ketter; Tamba D. Saysay; William Tamba Kamba; Jeremiah Saah Borlay; and Francis Sakila Nyumalin, Sr.

All the candidates have confirmed their participation in the debate, according to a PUL release issued here Friday.
