GHANA: NPP Invincible Forces possessing ‘missing’ State cars – Group alleges

ghanaThe Director of Communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin last Wednesday indicated that the president, Nana Akufo-Addo has been forced to use a 2007 model of a saloon car within Accra due to the absence of the state vehicles.

Pressure group, Media for Accountability has alleged that the over 200 vehicles which are said to be missing from the Flagstaff House are in the possession of members of the Invisible Forces, the militant wing of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

A statement signed by two members of the group, Nana Kwabena Bobie Ansah a – Broadcast Journalist and Listowel Nana Kusi-Poku – a Freelance Journalist said: “In our investigation we found out that some cars that were bequeathed to the current government were taken away by some members of the Invincible Forces and some members of the party who had no car and since they have won power they carried some of the cars away.”
