buhari-620x400Nigerians in Paris, France on Sunday accused President Muhammadu Buhari of paying lip service to the fight against corruption, with prosecution of only members of the opposition political parties. They also urged the government to legalize gay practice in Nigeria, saying such would create the needed atmosphere of freedom in the country.

In separate email messages sent to our correspondent in Akure, a popular Nigerian musician, who is a Paris-based Gay activist, Victor Ologunowa stressed that the continued attacks by members of the Boko Haram will not help the country to grow.

Ologunowa, who noted that a nation cannot witness rapid development when there is no peace, said, “I am urging the Federal Government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari to find lasting solution to insecurity in the country. The news reaching us here on the level of insecurity in Nigeria is scary and uncalled for.”
