TEHRAN (FNA)- The Russian Defense Ministry reported that militants continue to leave blocked areas in Eastern Aleppo.
A total of 10 militants have left blocked areas in eastern Aleppo under the auspices of the Russian center for Syrian reconciliation in past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website, adding that the Aleppo residents have received about 1.5 tons of humanitarian aid.
“Posts with hot meal and items of first necessity continue their work for civilians who leave the districts of the Aleppo city, which are under control of terrorist armed groupings,” the bulletin reads.
The Syrian army units have started special operations in Aleppo after several humanitarian pauses declared by Damascus and Moscow to give a chance to the civilian population as well as the militants to leave the Eastern parts of the city through 8 corridors.
District after district have fallen into the hands of the Syrian army soldiers and their allies in the city of Aleppo, as the pro-government troops have recaptured important blocks and districts in the Northern and Southern parts of Eastern Aleppo as well as Southern and Western parts of the war-ravaged city.
