College student from N.J. dies in fall from fraternity house roof, report says

Sean Guthrie plunged about 20 feet from the gabled roof of the Kappa Alpha Order’s house on North High Street in Morgantown, W. Va., according to WDTV.com.

Guthrie slipped while trying to re-enter the house through a window after stepping out to smoke a cigarette, the report said.

The 20-year-old was an industrial engineering major who served as vice president of community relations for the Interfraternity Council, according to the daonline.com.

Guthrie attended Toms River High School South. The school will hold a candlelight vigil for Guthrie on the school’s football field at 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
