In Nimba County LACE Constructs US$68,000 Surgical Theater

health-logoGNN-Liberia Correspondent quoting the Dr. SieParwon, the medical director at the Saclepea health Center; the surgical theater project which will be constructed by Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE) at the Saclepea Comprehensive health Center will help reduce the high maternal and mortality death rates in Nimba County.

Speaking in an interview with our Correspondent Dr. Parwon further cautioned that, surgical services will not immediately begin after the delegation of the building in Saclepea as may be perceived by many citizens in the region.

He also noted that the theater is yet empty, wherefore needing assistance from partners and government for supply of equipment, installment and deployment of trained and qualified doctors at the health center in Saclepea for surgical services

Meanwhile, Nimba County Superintendent Fong Zuagle has pronounced his administration’s commitment to advocate for the transformation of the Saclepea Comprehensive Health Center into a modern hospital.

The county superintendent who is currently serving as the chairman on the board of the County health team also vows to destroy all properties illegally constructed on the landscape of the health facility in Saclepea this dry season in order to regain the 200 acres of land donated by the indigenous people from the district.
