VP Boakai Support Swells, As Liberty Party Former Political Leader Endorses His Presidential Bid

The presidential bid of Liberian Vice President for the pending 2017 general and presidential elections is swelling on a daily basis as one of the ruling Unity Party (UP) opponents and former political leader of the opposition Liberty Party (LP) has openly endorsed the presidential of  Vice President Joseph N. Boakai.

Mr. Franklin Siakor made the declaration yesterday when he appeared on state radio’s popular talk show also called on all his allies and supporters across the country to do likewise by expressing their support to the Vice President.

The former Senator of Bong County said he was overwhelmingly supporting the Presidential bid of the Vice President, because according to him he is fit and that he has the character to be Liberia’s next president, adding that the Unity Party’s political leader has an outstanding record which is equivalent  of the Liberian presidency.

The former Senator also described VP Boakai as a comrade, who has over the years lived an exemplified life and has served his country with distinction, expressing the belief that VP Boakai is well suited to unify Liberia.
