This year, 2016 I-Help Liberia Benefit Concert which is held every year at Hunter College High School auditorium New York Manhattan was another excited moment when the organizers as usual displayed some of Liberia’s melodious musicians and artistic performers at a well organized musical show in support of their Math and Science Projects in Liberia.
As usual every year, the organizers of the show take students from the Hunter College High School to Liberia aimed at helping to professionally equip science and math students and teacher in Liberia through the conduct Math and Science Quiz Bowl competitions,
During their stay in Liberia these visitors (American students and their mentor) provide modern science and math quiz bowl equipment including projectors and other educational materials to dozens of participating schools benefit from such gesture from the organizers of the competition during their stay in Liberia.
Guests who were at this year’s benefit concert were graciously entertained by Liberian Women’s Chorus for Change and one of Liberia’s foremost performing artists, Steve Worjloh who is popularly known as Big Steve.
This colorful occasion also saw the awarding of the Angie Brooks Randolph Annual Award to three individuals who were urged by the Chief Organizer of the program, Mr. Asumana Jabateh to display their respective awards to the public as a symbol of their humanitarian works over the years.
