A US warplane has been down on the border between Syria and Iraq, ISIS have claimed, The death cult claim they managed to shoot down the unmanned plane. The Pentagon is  yet to comment on the reports.

The drone reportedly came down in south east Shadadi, in Syria, near to the Iraqi border. The attack comes after ISIS fighters deployed mustard gas against US forces at a base near Mosul. Drone strikes are a common tactic used in the war against ISIS in the region.

The alleged downing of the drone comes as Russia and US sit at loggerheads in the region, each are blaming the other over an airstrike on a UN aid convoy which killed 20 people.
