According to the Spokesman of the Liberia National Police (LNP), Sam Collins, two teams of Riot Police Units has been dispatched to Nimba County, where a standoff on the COCOPA Rubber Plantation Company has been taken place for the past few days which resulted to unnecessary roadblocks in the area.

Collins in a Face Book post said the teams were lifted from Monrovia and the Regional Hub in Bong County, and noted further that this situation has resulted into road blocks thus preventing the movement of vehicles along the routes.

The Liberia National Police is using every means community policing wise to bring the situation under control, Mr. Collins concluded.
