The program was graced by prominent citizen of the township, Senator Morris Saytumah who praised More Than Me (MTM) for its generosity by empowering their school teachers and also renovating the damaged school.

Other speakers including the head of the Parents’ Teacher Association (PTA), the Principal of the school, the elders, the Clan Chief and others added further praise to More Than Me for putting to their disposal a modern school for their children; the future leaders of Liberia.

According to the Founder of MTM, Ms. Katie Meyler, her institution is currently sponsoring six schools in both Montserrado and Bomi Counties. With her passion to see girl children excel in their education, she will do all in her power to compliment the Ministry of Education in its bid for sound education for Liberian students.

She said her organization (MTM) in its drive to cover the entire country, is hoping to increase the number of schools to over 500, noting that something must be done to bring quality education to the youthful population of Liberia, especially for the nation’s girl children.

Making specific reference of the Bogbeh Public School, Ms. Meyler said prior to her organization coming to the aid of the people of Bogbeh Town; the entire roof of the building was completely damaged thus making it very difficult and impossible for the commencement of classes at this school.

Ms. Meyler speaking further said, “Through our support and the people of this wonderful town MTM was able to roof this building and hired two trainers who are now working with the teaching staff of this school to provide quality teaching to children of this school.”

For his part, the Principal of the school, Mr. Boima C. Adams in his joyous state of mind, thanked the MTM family for bringing educational life to Bogbeh Town, especially its youthful population, noting, “Words are inadequate to thank Ms. Meyler and her team at MTM, we first give thanks to God and to the More Than Me family for bringing life to this town. We’re overwhelmed here today and say a big think you to Ms. Katie Meyler and the MTM family.”
