Liberian Media Once Again Is Bereaved, Prof. James Wolo Is Dead

Just laid to rest of Lawrence Randall, one of Liberia’s respected journalists yesterday, Friday, September 10, 2016, another Liberian media ‘guru’, a Professor of Mass Communications at the University of Liberia has passed off after a protracted illness. Professor Wolo who was suffering from diabetes died at a local hospital 12AM this morning here in Monrovia.

Prior to his death the late Professor worked at the United Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), and was one of the most respected and senior Liberian media practitioners who always wanted to mode the minds of upcoming Liberian journalists. Prof. Wolo will be missed by the Liberian media stakeholders.

The Liberian media over the past months has suffered the blow of death with more than four journalists being hit by this devilish blow call death in less than two months, Prof. Wolo is the latest to be hit by this unwanted blow.
