Follow a major burglary at the headquarters of the Press Union of Liberia by men believed to be armed men making away several items including cash few weeks ago, another media outlet has been serious vandalized by armed men in the Township of Brewerville outside Monrovia.
According to one of the employees who spoke to our reporter, the men armed with machetes and other deadly weapons early Friday morning attacked security guards assigned at the compound of the Red Power 100.3 FM radio station making away with several items including computers and cash.
He said the private security guards assigned at the radio station were overpowered by the huge number of the armed men who were dangerously armed with deadly weapons, taken advantage of the less number of security guards who were on duty.
He also disclosed that due to the massive looting of the station; taking away several electronic equipment and vandalizing the main studio of the station, the management was compelled to shut down and has invited the Liberia National Police to speedily investigate the burglary and bring the perpetrators to justice.
