ISLAMIC State’s mastermind behind terror attacks on Europe has defected in a major coup for Western intelligence chiefs.

Frenchman Abu Soulayman, who planned massacres in Paris and Brussels, was last night reported to have fled and crossed the border from Syria into Turkey.

He was seen being taken away by a French anti-terror team amid hopes he will turn supergrass and spill the terror network’s secrets. READ MORE OF THIS STORY
