Another Liberian journalist has died, Kpor Gbain died early this week following a brief illness, according to family sources.

Prior to his passing, the late Gbain worked at the Ministry of National Defense as Assistant Minister for Public Affairs in 1996, and was later dismissed a year later.

His latest employment prior to his death was at the Ministry of Information where he served as one of the reporters at the Liberia News Agency (LINA).

Mr. Gbain came to prominence in the early 1980s when he worked with the state broadcaster, the Liberian Broadcasting System (LBS) as one of the News Anchors at the ELTV where he served as one of the presenters on   evening news, “Action NEWS’.
