Report from Gbarnga, Bong County has disclosed that one of the executive members of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) has crossed over to the ruling Unity Party declaring his support to Vice President Joseph N. Boakai presidential bid come 2017.
Dr. Peter Coleman, Senator of Grand Kru County made the declaration yesterday in Gbarnga at the ongoing UP National Convention said he supports Vice President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s presidential bid for his dreams to develop Liberia, and improve its economic situation.
In a related development, some partisans of the Unity Party partisans have reportedly crossed carpet to the opposition Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) of former Governor Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), Dr. Joseph Mills Jones, saying their decision to relinquish their membership from the UP is due to several reasons that are beyond their control, but poured praises on the political leader of MOVEE, saying he is the only solution to the Liberian people’s problem when elected.
