Taybid Unveils Brand New Single Title “Achu”

achuDouala, Cameroon (March, 15th, 2016) – US-based Cameroonian artist Taybid has just released his new single ‘Achu’, for your listening pleasure.

Named after a popular dish from the western region of Cameroon, ‘Achu’ is a colorful blend of afropop and electro sounds, produced by Slimbeatz. An uplifting, feel good song that narrates the tales of a young, hardworking artist who, despite adversities is praying to see better days, and is determined to achieve his goals.

About the artist

Jason Ndiforchu known as Taybid (previously known as Mr Armani) is a versatile singer and

songwriter. Born in Washington, DC, he spent most of his childhood in Cameroon, between

Douala, Yaounde and Buea where he attended secondary school. He started off writing

stories and poems and later on drifted into music. Inspired by the likes of Shabba Ranks, Bob

Marley, Burna Boy, Drake, Stromae, Dina Bell, Ben Decca and afrobeats, Taybid’s musical genre is infused with a lot of different sounds, although he sees himself as a Dancehall act by right.
