Wife Of Ex-President Taylor Vows To Rule Liberia In 2017, Says She Has All That Goes With It, But Others Say No To Her Bid

As many Liberian politicians are warming up to join the upcoming 2017 Liberia’s general and presidential  elections, the wife of ex-Liberian leader  and currently behind bars in the UK for crimes against humanity Charles Taylor has vowed to capture the 2017 presidency, noting that she has all the quality that want would think off for that position.

Madam Jewel Howard Taylor, Standard Bearer of the former ruling National Patriotic Party (NPP), and  Senior Senator of Bong County made the disclosure over the weekend when she appeared on a local radio talk show in Monrovia.

Senator Taylor speaking further boasted of her numerous contributions in allowing peace to prevail in Liberia, stressing, “Liberians will be happy to see another female becoming a president of this nation. I have all of those credentials to become President,” Senator Taylor went.

She said her quest of becoming Liberia’s second female president will not be thwarted, stressing, “The Liberian people love me, and I know I will receive all the support that is need for my presidential bid,” she concluded.

But in reaction to Senator Taylor’s quest for the presidency, some of those Liberians listened to her on the station via the same airwave rejected her call for the presidency, noting that Liberia at this point needs know woman president.
