The Monrovia City Court at the Temple of Justice has incarcerated at the Monrovia Central Prison 18-year-old Satta Morris, a resident of the northern Monrovia suburb of Paynesville for allegedly killing a 29 year-old woman.
Police arrested Satta Morris in the Bernard Farm Community on September 24, 2015 following information from community members that she had allegedly stabbed to death one Weedor Lamah.
The Police charge sheet stated that Morris and the late Lamah were constantly fussing over accusation that the victim was aware of a sexual relationship between her niece and the defendant’s boyfriend that resulted to pregnancy.
According to the charge sheet, this resulted in a feud between the two during which Morris allegedly stabbed Lamah with a knife in her throat which made her to bleed profusely.
The charge she indicated that Lamah was rushed to the JFK Hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival
During Police investigation defendant Morris voluntary admitted to the crime of murder. She is currently awaiting court trial.
