LIBERIA: SSF Construction Company Cripples Pregnant Woman, Compels Her To Have Abortion

A truck belonging to a Lebanese owned Construction Company, the SSF Entrepreneur Incorporated has crippled a Liberian pregnant woman who was recently knocked down on a motorbike while en route to a nearby town in Grand Kru County.

The lady, Martha Dorh in her late thirties is suffering from a severe pains from the accident which took place since last April, is currently been admitted at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Monrovia.

Speaking to reporters from her hospital bed today in tears, Madam Dorh said since the incident the company is yet to cater to her health, a situation she said compared her to have abortion.

She further said the company is only providing on a daily basis three hundred Liberian dollars or less than five United States dollar to her from the company through one David Zarbah who an employee of the company.

When our staff visited the head office of the Company in the suburb of Monrovia,  Sinkor to ascertain the actual facts surrounding the allegation, a private security guard assigned to the company head office in Sinkor refused to allow access to our reporter.

When also this paper contacted one David Zarbah an employee who is said to be the contact person between the victim and the company and is said to have delivered the amount in question alleged three hundred Liberian dollars to the  victim, his mobile line rang endlessly.

However, our investigation continues.
