LIBERIA: China Union Dismisses Two Female Employees For ‘Food Poisoning’

The China Union Investment Company operating in Liberia with concentration in Bong Mines, Bong County has reportedly dismissed two of its female employees for their alleged link to food poisoning to kill one of their employers.

Miss Felecia Chea and Patience Weah both who worked for the Company for over two years as Kitchen Assistants assigned to the Company’s management team were on May 24, 2015 notified by the management of the Company’s local office in Monrovia, that their services were no longer needed on grounds that they have planned to poison the food of their Chinese bosses while preparing it.

Speaking to reporters in Monrovia, one of the accused, Felecia Chea said the allegation leveled against them by the management is false and misleading, and that the management had to evidence to prove its claims against them.

According to the dismissal letter, a copy in the possession of this news outlet, the China Union Management did not sate clearly say why the two female employees were been dismissed, but said it is not satisfied with their ‘Bad cooking’ performances and attitude towards their assignment.

However, according to information the two employees have been paid off.

Efforts by the management to response to this news outlet enquiry about this information proved unsuccessful no one could not talk to our reporter on the issue.
