PUL Book Opens Of Condolence For Journalist Herbert Johnson Thursday

The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) will on Thursday, June 4, 2015, open a book of condolence in honor of fallen Liberian journalist Hebert Johnson.
The Liberian journalist died on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the John F. Kennedy Medical Hospital in Monrovia, as a result of a liver disease, and will be buried on June 6, 2015, according to family members.
The book will be open at 11am at the Press Union’s Clay Street Headquarters with family members, score of journalists, friends and members of the public expected to grace the occasion.
The PUL has expressed deep condolences to his family, saying that Herbert Johnson was a career media professional who played a role in the democratic process of his country.
Herbert previously managed the Diary Newspaper and lately the Option, which he oversaw until his death. Besides, Herbert served as Press Attaché to former President Pro Tempore Cletus Wortorson and Media Consultant at the Liberia Telecommunications Authority.
Wake-keeping over his remains will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015, at his residence situated in Sinkor, Old Road, opposite the old Charlotte Supermarket, beginning at 9pm, his family said.
On Saturday, June 6, his remains will be removed from the Abraham Roberts Funeral Home at 8am and taken to the Providence Baptist Church on Ashmun Street for Funeral Service, beginning at 9am followed by interment the Soul Cleansing Cemetery in Paynesville.
