The Monrovia City Court has detained two brothers at the Monrovia Central Prison on charges of Unlicensed Sale and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs.
Defendants Edwin Beh and Nathaniel Beh, both residents of the Center Street in central Monrovia, were arrested by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) on May 5 with 25 wraps of heroin weighing 5.5 grams valued L$ 9,375 (about US$111) and Precursor weighing 27.4 grams valued at US$137.
The total value of the drugs is put at L$20,875 (about US$248).
During police investigation, Edwin admitted to the crime, while Nathaniel initially denied but later admitted that the Precursor was found and seized from his house.
Meanwhile, the defendants are currently detained awaiting court trial.
