Liberian Press Union Vice President Suspended

The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) Grievance and Ethics Committee has imposed a two-week suspension on the Union’s Vice President, Mr. Jallah Grayfield.
The suspension was announced after a probe into his participation in a bogus “PUL Prestigious Award” ceremony recently.
The PUL deputy leader is also required to write and circulate an open letter of apology in at least 30 local media outlets.
Mr. Grayfield accepted that he erred in the affair, a PUL release said Thursday.
