1. The Government of the Republic of Liberia through the National Port Authority (NPA) has signed a Loan Agreement with Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development for assisting in the financing of the Port of Greenville Rehabilitation Project, Part of the proceeds of the Loan will be allocated toward the purchase two Pilot Boats and one Security Patrol Boat under the contract  IFB No NPA/ICB/005/14/15.

2. The Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible registered bidders for the supply of marine crafts for the fiscal year 2014/15.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) process as enshrined in the Public Procurement and Concessions Act (PPCA).

4. There will be a 5% MARGIN OF PREFERENCE for Liberians and Kuwaiti Companies (See bid documents section 35.1)

6. Qualification requirements include:

II. Valid Tax Clearance

IV. Past performance records- including names of contact numbers of at least two

7. All interested eligible bidders may obtain copy of the bidding document from the Procurement Unit of the National Port Authority for a non-refundable fee of US$100.00 beginning 7 January 2015 from 8:30 A.M to 4:30 P.M, Mondays through Fridays.

8. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security of 2% of bid price from a reputable bank.

9. Sealed Bids must be delivered to the Procurement Unit not later than 11:00AM on 16 March 2015. Late bids will be rejected and returned to the bidders unopened. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders who choose to attend or their representatives on 16 March 2015 at

11:30AM in the National Port Authority Conference Room.
