ELECTION UPDATE: Election Fraud in Grand Kru, Official Writes Protest Letter To NEC

What appears to be a serious setback in the ongoing midterm senatorial race in Grand Kru County is gradually developing, as officials of the County who claimed that election fraud has taken place in that southeastern County has complained to the National Elections Commission (NEC) registering their disappointment on the matter.

The Official complaint sent to the National Elections Commission (NEC) said Election Malpractices and Fraud in Grand Kru County where election boxes were arrested in NEC election officer home in Barclayville.

According to the complaint, The officer involved was arrested and turn over to the police in the Barclayville but the police assigned there are trying to compromise the ELECTION fraud protest.

Latest provisional result released Monday said Albert Chie has taken a lead in the race with 50.0% above one of the contestants, Rosaline Sneh. Detail will follow in our subsequent report.
