Sierra Leone may be taking Liberia’s place as Ebola’s hot zone. And now, Sierra Leoneans will face jail time if caught burying Ebola victims. In some places, Ebola has become an afterthought. In Sierra Leone, it’s an ever-present reality. Registering close to 8,000 cases and more than 1,700 deaths as of Monday, the region is the new epicenter of the worst Ebola outbreak in history.
