Liberian journalist and sympathizers today converged at the Providence Baptist Church in Monrovia to pay their last respect to their fallen colleagues, Zoegar Jaynes who died two weeks ago at a local hospital following a brief illness.
Zoegr Jaynes was one of Liberia’s best sports commentators; he died of diabetes, according to family source. Prior to his death, Jaynes worked for several media institutions including the Liberian Broadcasting System and the Catholic run radio station, Radio VERITAS.
He was deacon of the church where hundreds of sympathizers including journalists, family members, former workmate at the Ministry of Finance and mass number of friends of the public. His remains was yesterday floated on Broad Street.
His remains have buried.
