The More Than Me (MTM), an American NGO after presented a brand new ambulance to help in the fight of the deadly to the Ebola Task Force, last week again distributed several relief items to six communities in Monrovia and its environs as this NGO own way of identifying with the people.
Ms. Krubo Kowah, a social worker at the MTM on behalf of the Founder of the NGO, Madam Katie Meyler told the beneficiaries that these items being presented to them were to be used for their intended purpose.
Items delivered to residents of communities benefited from the MTM kind gesture were PPEs including buckets, calorie, soap food stuffs and other household materials.
Receiving the items, representatives of the benefited communities beeping with smiles, thanked the MTM for its support to their communities in helping to kick out of Liberia the Ebola virus, and told Ms. Kowah to extend their gratitude to the Founder of the organization, Madam Meyler for his huge humanitarian assistance to them.
Since Ebola was confirmed in West Point in August 2014, the NGO has partnered with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other partners on the ground to kick Ebola out of Liberia.
According to its objective, the More Than Me is on a mission to make sure education and opportunity, not exploitation and poverty, define the lives of the most vulnerable people, especially the future leaders (girls) in Liberia.
