The Ebola outbreak in West Africa caused Liberia to slash its growth forecast and Nestle SA (NESN) to express concern it may disrupt cocoa production, even as Nigeria is due to be declared free of the disease next week.
Ebola has killed about 4,500 people since December in Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia, in the biggest ever outbreak of the viral illness that kills most of those it infects. Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, and Senegal have had a handful of cases. READ MORE OF THIS
