The Government of the Republic of Liberia through the Nation Port Authority (NPA) has signed a Loan Agreement with Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development for assisting in the financing of the Port of Greenville Rehabilitation Project.

Part of the of the proceeds of the Loan will be allocated toward the purchase of Rechstackers, Forklift, Navigational Aids, New Tugboats, Log Loader as well as Patrol & Pilot Boats under the contracts: IFB No NPA/NCB/010/14/15; IFB No NPA/CB/014//14/15, IFB No NPA/ICB/012/14/15; IFB No NPA/NCB/011/14/15; IFB No NPA/ICB/007/14/15 respectfully.

The announcement inviting sealed bids for these items on June 18, 2014 sct bid opening dates. However, due to the current challenges associated traveling in Liberia, occasioned with the Ebola Epidemic, Management is constrained to postpone the opening of all bids until November 18, 2014 in order to accommodate all bidders.
Management will retain all sealed bids already submitted in relations to this announcement in the form submitted until November 18, 2014 when bid opening time shall be staggered in order for all bids opening to occur on the stated date.

Management regrets any inconvenience this may cause any of our bidders and appeals for your understanding.
