The Managing Director of the National Port Authority, Madame Matilda W. Parker along with Ports and Harbors Director Mr. Barnabas Kasor departed the Country Wednesday, July 9, 2014 for a high level investment meeting with Mr. Ben Osu Mensah in Accra, Ghana.
The two Executives’ trip to that West African State, according to a release from the Public Affairs department of the NPA, their departure is in fulfillment of the Acting Chairman of the Board of the NPA, Morris M. Dukuly.
Madam Parker and Mr. Kasor are on a trail for future investment in the Samuel A. Russ Port of Greenville, and are expected to conclude draft two (2) of the propose PPP agreement in readiness for the APM Terminals negotiations scheduled for the week of July 21, 2014 .
They are also expected to hold talks with Bollore/UMARCO in Houson, Texas, USA to conduct due diligence of their operations, and complete draft one (1) of the joint Venture and PPP Agreements.
